itr cam in gsr

Default itr cam in gsr

i have a set of itr cams and i was just wondering if i just put them in a stock gsr motor will i see any gains?

and can i run them with the stock cam gears untill i have money to get adjustables?

sorry if i sou nd uneducated i have two broke arms and its hard to type lol. help is grreatly apreciated

yes you can just slap them in and keep it at stock rev limit.

You can use both of you want to see the full gain potential, or you can throw just the exhaust cam on there and see decent numbers.

Either way, i would put some adjustable cam gears, and dyno tune it.

You should see a few horsepower gained (probably 10, max).

many people just use the intake cam and leave the springs alone. they say you'll get perhaps 7hp tuned. Add the exhaust cam for the extra 3hp, but i'd highly recommend at least replacing the gsr single exhaust springs for duals at that point.

You can't 'expect' any gains without tuning, not to say you won't get any. These are 'must tune' mods, realistically.

I put in ctr cams, an aebs intake manifold, bpi flow stack, and then got a really expensive professional street tune, and ended up .2 quicker in the quarter and 2mph faster.
