I understand that the EF8 gauge cluster requires a electronic VSS instead of the cable one that comes in the ED9? Where would I get the correct VSS for this cluster? Is there any extras I would need to do the install that I would not get with a cluster I bought on eBay for example? Do any of the features on the cluster not work in an ED9?

I have read some articles on the install, but a lot of the articles I found were down.

an electronic vss is not required. you can still use the cable vss by keeping the just the odometer part of the cluster. once the odometer is out you will notice that there are two holes where you can thread two screws. that is where you can attach two wires and send them to the correct locations on the electric vss and the harness to the ecu. ill will try to post the link where it shows you how to do the conversion.
