5 lugs question
does the dc4 and dc2 have the same knuckle, the same trailing arm.
Is it possible to make a 5 lugs conversion with only itr bearing and hub, caliper, disc and pad.
thx

I went to http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org and looked up the parts for a 97 4 door LS and a 97 3dr LS. If anything, the type R part in general should be the same part number:
4 door:
51210-SR3-N10 KNUCKLE, R. FR.
51215-SR3-N10 KNUCKLE, L. FR.
52370-ST7-G91 ARM, R. RR. TRAILING (DISK)
52371-ST7-G91 ARM, L. RR. TRAILING (DISK)
3 door ( aka 2 door ):
51210-SR3-N10 KNUCKLE, R. FR.
51215-SR3-N10 KNUCKLE, L. FR.
52370-ST7-G91 ARM, R. RR. TRAILING (DISK)
52371-ST7-G91 ARM, L. RR. TRAILING (DISK)
and for comparison....97 type R
51210-SR3-N10 KNUCKLE, R. FR.
51215-SR3-N10 KNUCKLE, L. FR.
52370-ST7-R00 ARM, R. RR. TRAILING (DISK)
52371-ST7-R00 ARM, L. RR. TRAILING (DISK)
If you don't believe me.....go ahead and click on the link. Choose each option such as 3 door LS and 4 door LS. Cut and paste the part numbers onto notepad ( or write them down ). Then look up the type R parts
To make it less of a hassle, I would go ahead and use the front knuckles from the type R, and then swap out the rear trailing arms if you have them. Otherwise, you'd have to press out the hub assembly from the front knuckles from the type R and yours...and then swap em out. I remember reading about the differences between the rear trailing arms as being with the bushings? Other than that, it's practically the same rear trailing arm as I swapped my LS ones for the Type R ones without a problem.
If you wanna go the "cheaper" route, look behind the rear trailing arms and there should be 4 "star" bolts, and one nut. Remove them from the type R trailing arm to remove the hub assembly and swap it over to your existing one. If you choose that route, you would already have removed your rear trailing arm off your car.....hopefully....so....while it's out, replace the bushings with better ones
Or.....just simply swap out the trailing arms.

Yes, you can do this. But you'll be spending a lot of money buying those parts new.
