Default What to do?

I have a crx with the dohc zc in it now and if i run it hard i get around 40mpg. I have a b18a1 that is supposedly locked up. What all do i need to do to build the ls to run good on motor and hold a 100 shot easy? Will the ls get around the same milage? I am having the ls bored .20 over and a three angle valve job. Will aftermarket type r pistons be good for it?

Locked up? Like seized?

You'll have to tear it apart to see what's wrong with it exactly.

So your goals are a light all motor build and able to hold 100 shot?

i would look into a motor that the crank will still turn easily...and build it...

i would still tear the motor apart just to be safe. a stock B18 sleeved motor, if built properly, can take 50-75 shot safely...i wouldn't go with anything bigger than that unless you want cracked sleeves or a hole in the block
