Can anybody tell me if the F22a (90-93) pistons are the same as the F22b (94-97)?

I know they are the same bore I'm not sure sure if the wrist pin location is identical.

Any idea?

The reason I ask is because Arias list the F22a pistons for the Accord 90 - 93 with no mention of them fitting the F22b 94 -97 Accord.

 

Well I'm not 100% sure but I can tell you that the Bore, Stroke, rod length, compression height, and the piston wrist pin styles are all the same between the F22A's and B's so they should work no problem.

 

I find it odd that Arias list there F22 pistons for the F22a only where as Nippon Power list their XTP Cp Pistons for the F22b only.

Anyone shed any light on this?

'Sorry but they are different, the f22a piston has a taller compression height than the f22b and the piston would stick out of the block, not to mention that the valve reliefs are not in the same place and could not tell you if they would work. We can custom make them for you and the price is the only thing that would be different.
