Default Clutch Engaging, Hear and feel motor "clunk"

Hey guys and girls,

I'm new to this forum but i hear its a wicked source for some info. anyways heres my problem.

I have a 1990 Civic Si"R"
It has a B16A Gen 2 in it and an SIR front conversion done on it.
Everytime my clutch engages i hear a nasty clunk. I had read earlier that the front motor mount is not required with these motors. I am running Avid racing mounts from what i was told. could this be the cause? i will throw it up on ramps tomorrow to make sure my rear mount is intact. also is this a danger to my motor?

And while i'm here, I'm having a problem with my rear running lights. whenever the car isn't started and in the on position they seem to work. as soon as i start the car they go out and do not come on. this is a big problem at night as i nearly had a run in with the police tonight. any ideas?

Thanks everyone.

put the mount on and see if that helps i would say that the mount is there for a reason

as for the lights check your fuses and if that doesn't help you'll have to start chasing wires .......have fun
