i was wondering if anyone knew why my car would vibrate when in netural but the vibration goes away when accelerating or brakeing pretty hard. car would shake going at any speed. as soon as i press the gas pedeal or break enough, the shaking stops. thanks in advance guys, oh yeah, i got a 97 integra gsr.

 

well my car rattles wenever im at a stop and i always put my car on neutral idk if its something to b worried about but the shaking isnt that bad. if it is something bad can someone tell us

 

my integra was running on 3 cylinders just about a week ago, and it shook at idle and anytime i wasn't braking or accelerating, just as you described. I wasn't able to tell too much of a loss in power so you may be running on 3 cylinders without realizing. I replaced the distributor cap and rotor, my wires, and spark plugs and the problem was resolved. let me know what happens

did you check your oil lol but the car isnt supposed to shake

 

i took it to one of my friend and he told me its because of the soild engine mounts that was installed, and does not let the engine to flex, but a lot of vibration to be felt. is that true???

 

yeah thats most likely what i causing it

 

yeah, solid engine mounts would def. cause that issue.

 

where is this solid engine mounts? can someone post a pic sorry for taking this thread dont wanna start a new one its a waste.
