recommendations on new clip ons for 06 CBR600RR
im looking to do some new clip ons for mt 06 RR. i have heard many people say that a slightly lower and more forward body position can be acheived with adjustable clip ons. anyone recommend a brand to me??
A number of brand name clip-ons would be fine, just avoid the eBay specials. They are machined poorly and I've heard about them failing
And I would say spend the money elsewhere. Stock position for the 600rr clip-ons is a great median between comfort and aggressive stance. You wouldn't need to buy new clip-ons to lower the height of your stockers either. There is a retaining ring around your upper fork tube that acts as a guide to make sure the clip-ons are at level height. If you remove the ring, you can lower the clip-ons 1/2"-1" if you feel you need it. Make sure both of them are at even height with each other when you tighten them up, too.

thanks for the input. the main reason i am changing a little bit of my riding position is because im about 5'10 but i have long arms and it makes me sit a lil funny. i want to be able to lean forward just a bit....

Do you plan on tracking your bike? A benefit to having aftermarket clip ons is being able to swap the tubes in case one breaks in a crash instead of having to replace the whole thing.

If you look below your clipons there's a little ring. Very thin. It sits in a groove on the forks, kind of like a c-clip, and prevents the clipons from going any lower.
Pop that baby out and you can just lower your clipons, no need to spend any money for discomfort.
