I have the money to rebuild my lsvtec but I can sell my all motor setup and buy the rest of the parts I need for a k20 build but it will be a mild build not a fully build

What are the circumstances behind it blowing up? 250whp is a lot for any b-series.
I know people say k but 250 whp from a stock crank k20 is no walk in the park either.

What did you have in the lsvtec?

250 isnt a whole lot for that build. Especially at 86mm.

Sell everything, buy k24 stock bottom end, use a k20 head with some decent cams , rbc and header.

thats what i would do

I want to make 270 so I can either rebuild the lsvtec with a better head cams and header or do a k24 and do a mild build 270 on a k is not easy to make and Im colser to hit that number on a b than k

i'd have to disagree.

270 can be done on a stock k24 bottom end pretty easily. You just need the right parts.

You can hit 270 with that B bottom end as well, but you are correct the head/cams will need to change.

You can hit up Import Sports , they have a sick all motor b series build that makes more power than most b series builds

well I spoke with jeff from blueprint he said that they can work with my head and make it flow 320cfms I got the header now should I stay with specV cams or switch it ?
I think with a better port I can make the 270 on the b series
should I run 550cc or stay with the 440cc?

That will be the best B head ever. I would go with that. What class is this race car in?

You can definitely make 270 with that type of build. Get a VictorX IM and a custom header and you'll be right there.
