is it plug n play wit a 90-91 civic si cluster into my 88 civic dx???

 

A definite No!! You specifically want an 88-89 cluster. They differ slightly in shape and a bunch in wiring. You may be able to re-pin it, but I would recommend just getting the right year cluster to start with. Check out this site;
