best tranny for my d16y8?

Default best tranny for my d16y8?

I want to know which tranny is best for my stock d16y8. A si,dx,ex or jdm d15b? Does any of these tranny come with lsd?

you got the best tranny already, besides the JDM D15B W/ lsD BUT GOOD LUCK FINDING that it has the same ratios

I'm pretty sure you can buy an aftermarket LSD for a D16 tranny, but you won't really notice the difference with an LSD. I went from a D16 to a Type R and the only thing I notice is the loss of gas mileage and tire tread.

im pretty sure he meant motors...

Hmmmm, I wish when i built my last boosted motor/tranny setup I was aware that the Y8 tranny was the best... Or else I wouldn't have went with my Z6 that lasted twice as long as any of the previous 3 Y8 trannys... the discussion has been severed with multiple ginsu knives and left at a dead end every time... Steel Shift Forks in a Z6 that break and save gears most of the time vs Aluminum Shift Forks in a Y8 that bend and [freak] up gears more often than less... C'mon guys, let's do some research before we send Aureilous Maximus into the lions den without a sword...
