This is probably a silly question, but here I go anyway...I have a 94 ex coupe, I replaced the muffler pipe last week because it had rusted through at the weld. In the process of doing so I guess I jarred some other stuff loose because now I have another broken weld further up in the exhaust. It looks like I need to replace the cat and the long pipe after it. The broken weld is in the long pipe but the connecting flange with the cat is so rusted I think the cat needs to be replaced as a result. I want to buy something bolt on to make my life easier, the question is, is it cheaper to buy a short pipe to replace the cat (go catless) and if so, what pipe am I looking for? For some reason I'm having a hard time figuring this out. My BF and his friends are all Subaru people and not much help when it comes to my car...
