1996 Accord Spindle removal (brake job)
I'm changing the rotors and I cant get the spindle to come off.
I've removed the caliper and (4) 14mm stud bolts holdin the spindle in place and the large spindle nut.
It looks like the spindle is pressed on to the rotor and i cann't remove them.
I've used a hammer till i was blue in the face and all the lube I could find.
The spindle doesnt wanna budge.
any suggestions????

have you removed the four bolts on the back side of the knuckle holding the bearing to the knuckle? If not, you'll need to do that. To get to those, you need to pop the lower balljoint free to get the axle out of the hub. Then you can remove the four bolts on the back side of the knuckle. Once those are out, the hub/rotor/bearing assembly should drop out of the knuckle. If the bearing is rusted into the knuckle you may need a hammer or at worse you'll need it pressed apart. The hub isn't pressed into the rotor, it's pressed into the bearing.
There is a brake tutorial in the FAQ, I suggest reading through it

Be careful not to ruin the threads on the lower ball joint by hitting them with a hammer. I did this and had to go to a junk yard for a new spindle. If you need to hit it with a hammer keep the nut on. At least that can be replaced easily.
