little undercut indeed , I was using 1/8 rod, they wanted a 5/16'' beed , so udercut is acceptable up to a level ofcourse, This is a Oil tank for Exxon/Mobil they used them at the oil rigs over sea, is made completly of 316L ss, som fun stuff to build indeed!...

tell them you won't give it to them until they release the patents for NiMH batteries for use in EVs.

anyways, looks nice.

i dont know really, i think if its a 20 year patent they should expire in a few years anyways...

wouldn't it be more cost effective to mig something like that? i've done some machine work for a larger fab company that was building huge tanks out of stainless for a water related company and they mig everything.

Is actually all MIG welded , just the flanges on the doors and the panels are TIG.
