Default Supercharger!

Okay, so I've done a lot of research, and as you can tell I still have the damn auto tranny setup on my car. Jackson Racing has a mini version of the Eaton supercharger and is designed for the 96-00 d16y8. It retails for $1,999. This is something that is easily mounted and the modifcations needed to complete the boost are minimal. With this said, my car has about 152,000 miles on the engine/tranny. Should I rebuild the internals, or do you think I should just wait on any further modification until I have enough for a tranny and/or engine swap?
I know that I would need to upgrade the existing fuel rail, get larger injectors, and possibly update the fuel pump. Let me know if you might have any insight.

me personally, auto to manual first.
i dont think the squishbox will handle the abuse of the blower.

And 152 look to replace the rings and valve stem seals if you want to make decent power and make it reliable

wtf would you supercharge an auto sohc?
really....the fact you had to ask this scares me a little.
for the price of a new jackson unit you could do a ls swap.

dont do it. do one of two things... begin by converting auto to manual, or sell the car for a new car.
if you dont sell it, do swaps, not supercharging a car especially at the mileage you have!
