I'm in need of a water pump. Any recommendations?
nah just go to your local auto parts store and pick it up....but like anything else, theres always a possibility of getting a bad one....you have to take that risk just like everyone else

Huh?
BTW, besides carfax, is there way to find out whether it was replaced at the 100k mark? I have no clue what the prior owner did to it. My bro had it for a minute but I know he didn't put any work into it. Should I just go for it to avoid any future problems?
It currently has 130k miles on it.

Why do you think you need a new one?. If the Timing belt has been replaced more than likely the pump was too. And if it has not you should do it while you do water pump.

-It currently has 130k miles on it
-the temp. gauge creeps up when its in neutral/out of gear and creeps down when I rev it or drive.

Obviously, I wouldn't feel comfortable buying just any brand water pump for my integra.

If in doubt, then replace the timing belt and water pump. The last thing you want to happen is the timing belt snap or for your car to overheat.

Very cheap prices, almost as cheap as getting it from an auto retail store, but you're gonna get oem quality
