Hey all,
A few months ago i had my brake pads done at midas. The squeaking/screeching went away but eventually came back and is worse. I took it to midas this morning to check them out and they said the brakes are fine but the rotors are "Glazed" resulting in some grinding that im hearing. But i dont know enough to know if this is what is screeching all the time. I did paint my calipers inbetween but everyone said that the paint would of burned off quickly, maybe i oversprayed somewhere if that could matter? But they said it will be about $180 for rotors and i just want to make sure thats the problem before i got them done. This sound is annoying. It doesnt happen all the time, but most.

 

new rotors are cheaper to get. and as for the glazing, modern day pads really dont "glaze" unless you drive like a bat out of hell
