Default Will an ITR shift boot fit a del Sol?

I went and ordered a CTR shift boot for my del Sol's center console. The plan was to take the boot off the bracket and fit it to the Sol. After receiving it, just on visual inspection alone, I can see that it's WAY too short! Lengthwise, does anyone know whether or not an ITR shift boot will fit? Or will I be wasting another $35 trying to find out?

Oh yeah and by the way.... BRAND NEW CTR SHIFT BOOT FOR SALE PM ME IF INTERESTED

pm'd with answer, yes ctr and itr will both fit, but ctr (like u said) is really short, itr is longer...i dont remember if the itr bracket fits the del sol or not, but if it doesnt, just take the boot off the bracket (it slides off on the bottom) and put it on ur del sol bracket, shouldnt take anymore than 5 minutes =]

even with the boot off the bracket and swapped the ctr is going to be way too short to fit the del sol. it must have a longer boot than the others. itr i dunno

this is how you make it work

this is from when i did my itr boot into my 97 ek.

basically you take the itr boot off the bracket and switch it with the bracket from your car and then reinstall it .. that simple

start:

now take both boots off

swap brackets

and reinstall itr boot on stock bracket

and now reinstall

reinstall in car , put shift **** on and wham there you go

hope this helps
