Its probably cheaper to swap in a better motor than to fab ITBs for a lousy A3 motor.

Food for thought.

I agree
ITBs on the a3 is not worth the money IMO.

Ouch, The day I bought the RSX base, I drove a type s as well. Although I can say the "S" is faster, the base has an excellent engine, with a lot of useable torque and decent gearing.

Look at it this way. Even when the GSR was king, honda fans would have killed for the K20A3.

I just think it takes too much abuse.

You have to look at it in proper perspective. The k20a3 is the new B18B motor, perfect for boost but absolutely horrible for n/a.

Yeah, I'll admit the Type s engine has MORE potential thats for sure.

As for the ITB's I'm not sure they would be the way to go for a daily driven car anyway. I'd think cams and dyno time would be more reliable and easier to live with. You really have to know you stuff to tune ITB's.

Ask yourself, if you couldn't sit down and tune a carburated engine, then you should definetely NOT go with ITb's. I know I couldnt!!

Power can be gained much easier with cheaper mods.
