i think my axle's going bad, need help
i adjusted my coilovers to lower the car a little more, and then put a camber kit it. the day after i put the camber kit in, the right front started making noise. it sounds a lot like a brake pad indicator, but a lot louder, and it doesn't go away when i hit the brakes. also, it only makes the noise when the car has been running at high speed for a while, and warmed up, and only when i let off the gas, brakes or no brakes. when i hit the gas again, even a tiny bit, the sound goes away. and it goes away when i make a left turn, and gets a little louder when i turn to the right.
i called my mechanic, and he went for a ride with me to hear the noise. he said he's never heard anything like it. he said if it were a bearing, it most likely would make the noise all the time, but change pitch when i turn to one side, and be more of a humming. but he also said that honda axles have bearings in them near the joints, and that might be what's going bad, and that would explain why it goes away when i hit the gas.
i need to find out what this noise is without replacing a bunch of parts to narrow it down. does anyone have an idea? any help is appreciated.

yeah, it's a squealing/screeching noise. and it's not the pads. they're only a couple months old, and i pulled them out and they're fine. the noise is only there when it's been moving for a while, and it goes away when i turn left. just like a bearing going bad, but not a humming sound. it's really annoying.

My brother-in-lw's girlfriend has a Civic with new 17" rims and no other mods, and she gets the same noise coming from her rear wheels when she corners fairly hard. We haven't been able to identify it, though.
