Hey everyone just joined and have problem with my car, it wont start! I gave my car an oil change the day before this happened like (two months ago).So i drove my car the next day to work and i drove about 1000 ft and my cars check engine light came on and started to slow down and power down and tried to shift but nothing and then shut down!! It tries to start but does not turn over! I replaced the ignition coil, distributor cap ,rotor, spark plugs, and wires!! even the module for the distributor! Nothing has worked I was wondering if anyone has had this same problem or some good advice! My next guess is a fuel problem!! Not sure IT would be greatly apprieciated if someone could help!!! THANKS

 

So did you pull a code for CEL. That would be the first step in diagnosing the problem. Things like these always have several different solutions. Look in the FAQS on procedure on how to pull the code if you don't know how. GL

 

How do i check the codes without taking it to a shop!!
