I work in a body shop, and today had a guy stop in with a 2002 Indian Scout he brought in on a flatbed.
I need to find tanks for the bike new or used ASAP, the Indian tank graphics and some other minor parts. I have been on the phone the last 3 hrs contacting some 20 dealers NATION WIDE for parts for this bike and not a single one can get me ANYTHING for the thing. Does anyone know of any Indian dealers?
I guess the problem is they stopped production, and are going to start up again for 2009. I contacted Indian themself and the lady was supposed to email us a list of contacts....of course which I never recieved.

There used to be a guy in Utah named Burt Munroe who had all sorts of cool Indian parts. Last I heard he moved back to his native New Zealand. He was pretty old so he maybe gone but I'm sure he would be an excellent resource.

 

as a parts manager and estimator at a body shop myself, i feel your pain, i once spent 6 weeks trying to attain a carlsson cr16 wheel in the propper size and offset for an 06 sl600, not fun
