Need clarification on setting timing belt tension
I know the Honda recommended tensioning procedure. Question is, when you rotate the crankshaft back three teeth at the cam, do you hold the crank in that position until you tighten the tensioner bolt? Or. just remove your wrench that you used to rotate the crankshaft and then tighten your bolt.
After doing it the first way, it seems I have symptoms of a belt that's overtightened. Just want to make sure I get it right this time. Thanks in advance!
