Hey everyone was up..I'm not new to the site but think I might be going crazy..Im looking to get a new exhaust for my turbo'd d17. The old exhaust from before the turbo is only 2" and my downpipe off the turbo is 2.5 "..So I am looking for a new cat-back system to weld up directly to my downpipe(NO CAT)..But when looking for exhaust and I mean about 40 hours of research, I am seeing that they are saying the 2 door and 4 door exhaust is the same.. I high think they are the same, but wanted to see what you guys think about this???

I think it would be the same jus may differ from model to model (ie. the bends)

 

I think on options auto they differ and sell 4 door and 2door seperatly, but i could be wrong, check that site

 

the big diff. is some of the coupe exhausts will hang higher because the 2 dr has a cutout in the bumper. You may find yourself making a cutout or having one grafted in. as far as I know, no one makes a 2.5" catback, so you're gonna have to have it made custom.

 

My ebay tsudo cat back is 2.5. Had it for 3 years with no problems. $215 well spent
