Default Thinking of getting an FA over current EJ2. Opinions?

I'm looking to get a FA 4 DR SI once my new job starts instead of my 94 EJ2. The ej2 has no room, a few problems I can't fix, and all the work I have done is just making it decent enough to start building it.

Just wondering from other FA owners if they are satisfied getting a 4 DR over 2 DR for DD and light building. The good parts would be that it's new, warranty, great setup for stock, more functioning airbags, and a better potential (as far as I'm concerned).

But are the payments and insurance worth it?

my bro has a 95 Ej2 , motor runs strong with only 65k miles on it but the body is falling apart. Honda rust.

I might buy it and later build it or not.

But my bro is also considering a new SI but no money yet.

Yet i bet the insurance would go up some since its a new car, and an SI

Yeah the rust is killer on these cars, and not just on the body panels. Working on the rusted bolts that more than often seize and break off, faulty wiring and a lack of spare parts doesn't make it better.

Maybe it's time go move up and get toys for the more recent times .

Yea, I LOVE MY FA5 to and its been a year to this day since I got it and I have had 0 problems with it. Great DD and always fun to drive and it looks good 2 everyday you see it.

Get the FA over the FG, not saying its better but its the same car with 4 doors. Dont you want more for the money your putting down lol, I know I did. Besides, The type R parts look like sex on the FA5's. Even the OEM under lip looks like sex......
