This question is mainly directed at 6th gen owners because I'm not sure if the other gens are different.

After and OBD1 swap, did your temp gauge still work correctly with just the harness? If you have experience with this, please answer the appropriate question from below...

If Yes:
- What ECU are you running?

If No:
- What ECU are you running?
- If you made it work correctly, what procedure did you do to make it so?

I know how the signal system works, and have already wired it to work, but I'm curious if others went the same route.

it will depend on the year the 98-99 no problem but the 2000+ big problem as the temp unit gets it's signal directly from the PCM it's data if you ground the wire the gauge will read full hot after 30 seconds.. 2 ways to get around this 1 use a ECT converter for S2k swaps ($70) the cheeper way is to use a 98-99 cluster and install a 1 wire coolant temp sensor.. of course your going to have to either find one with mileage close to your or get it reprogramed..
