Default p28 on built ls vtec what ecu do I go with

My friend told me to get a skunk 2 chip, but since my peak boost turbo kit should be coming in this week I dont know what to do. He said get the chip and get it tuned on hondata. I dont undestand I want vtec to open up earlier because right now it opens at 5200. Any suggestions I got cp pistons and eagle rods

If I get hondata can the tuner adjust when vtec opens and can I use it on my laptop and what hondata to I buy thanks...

the tuner can do everything with hondata.

chips are garbage and you can now proceed to slap your friend.

don't worry about vtec. The tuner will put it where the ENGINE wants it. Not where YOU want it.

If you go hondata, definitely get the S300 system.

But I would get in contact with the tuner that is going to tune your car and ask them what they suggest and are comfortable using.

Whats wrong with s100? Is it okay for a very mild NA setup?

You could go with it. But that is almost stone age technology now.
