Default type r climate control in LS

im just looking for a simple answer, will the type r climate control work in the ls?

I'm pretty sure that the climate control is identical on all Integras which came from the factory with air conditioning - including the LS, GS-R, Special Edition, and '00-01 Type R.

However, the '97-98 Type R did not have air conditioning as a standard feature; it was a dealer-installed option. So if you're expecting A/C from a '97-98 Type R, you may or may not be getting it.

also im pretty sure the defroster and the hazard are switched

i have the cf climate control in my 95' ls. so yes all 94-01 climate controls are interchangeable..

USDM ITR climate controls are plug and play, light up amber. 00-01 ITRs have the faux carbon fiber.

JDM ITR climate controls are plug and play only after you swap in the white USDM temperature select cable and remove the blue JDM one.

i did none of this to my JDM climate control. please explain, with pics if you can..

I don't have pics. But the JDM cable is slightly shorter and routed on the other side of the temp select bracket.

ok now i remember switching the cables. when i got mine the cable was just cut way short so i had to use my old one. thats why i didnt remember.
