Car sat for 6 months.. Caliper frozen
Guys.. My car had been sitting for 6 months.. Prior all rotors were resurfaced and pads replaced... Now the calipor is freezing... Not locking the wheel.. But making that awful noise.. Has rust build up on it.. Does it need to be replaced?? Or can I clean and lube it up?? Not a mechanic... Any step by step details r welcome..

Check to see if just the slide pins are frozen. You should be able to compress the caliper and move it side to side. Which caliper are you talking about?
