Problem with brake lights on 95 Civic VX

Problem with brake lights on 95 Civic VX
Having a problem with my brake lights staying on even after ignition is turned off. The only way I found to get them off is to disconnect the battery. Anyone have any idea as to what may be causing this ? Thanks in advance Sab.
