So i just got home and a rock hit my windshield. It was a pretty big rock and it cracked my drivers side view. How much would it cost to replace my windshield and what is the best place to take it in the pittsburgh area? I have a 99 civic 4 dr sedan.

Dunno about Pittsburgh, but a 6th gen Civic windshield in the St. Louis area runs about $300-350 installed by one of those 'we come to you' autoglass places.

I just got mine replaced yesterday for $150. I believe that's kind of steep if you don't have a 'hook-up'. But from researching online, I had phone quotes from $200 to $240. So I guess it wasn't that bad.

My case was, hood flapped up and hit my windshield giving me a gang of cracks. Hope that helps.

Also, most companies offer their mobile service for free so look into that as well. Let them come to you.
