i was wondering what could cause this. when the key is takin out the light to the headunit is still on. and when i turn the key to the on position the bass thumps. i have a sound system in the civic. i'm just wondering if it could be a short. just started doing this. the stereo system was installed in january.

any inout would be great.

ya probably the 2 power wires touching. pull it out and check all the wires.
