Did you disconnect the battery when you installed it? I'm pretty sure that would have helped, you should do that with every mod. But otherwise get it scanned and see what it says.

Dealership would be able to. Auto Zone normally would but it's too new so they won't even be able to scan it. Depends on if you want the dealership to know about the mods..Check the sensors again to make sure they are good.

Yeah I would check unplug the battery. Well if there is a problem directly related to your modification, they can say it's not covered with the warranty (unless they're cool). And I'm sure they will make a note of it that you brought it in because the CEL came on when you installed this, making it directly related.

take it to auto zone they will scan it. had mine done. you need to get the defouler mod and put the cat o2 sensor into it then out that into the header. your gonna throw a CEL unless you have one. the batrtary isnt going to do nething until you get the defouler mod.

Defouler Mod is simple. I am sure op will ask this question next.

Go to your local pep boys or autozone and pick up part #42009. It is a spark plug defouler. Your going to go ahead and drill the entire little hole out one of the plugs so that you can slide your o2 sensor into it. Then screw that unit into the other one and put it back on your header.

Disconnect the battery for about 2 minutes or so then put it back on. No more check engine light.

Yea most likely its because he dont have the defouler on his RH now.

To the OP just get this done and you "shouldnot" get anymore CELs. But don't be surprised if it came back once in a while though. :D
