Default eg gsr build

finally starting my build
94 hatch GSR

Setup:
81mm
JE ls pistons 12:1
eagle ls rods
ls crank
acl bearings
type r oil and water pump
skunk2 stage 3 cams and intake manifold (ported)
supertech valvetrain
tdm hytech replica header


started headwork today to. Have pics but I am having a problem posting them up so if anyone can help me there that would be kool. lol. thanx

haha i know the feeling. get an account for photobucket.com. upload your photos their then paste the last code for each photo on here.

There's on thing that concerns me: ls 12:1 pistons. Ls pistons don't typical have the valve reliefs necessary to run larger than OEM vtec cams. I would make absolutely sure before I went any further. With those stg3s, you will have nearly 12.8 mm of lift which could be a disaster when you go into vtec.

I know you are usings acls but I would shoot for 2 thou bearing clearances on the mains and rods.

thanks for the input. that was one of my concerns as well. i already talked to the shop i got the cams from and they said I can switch them with a more conservative set of cams if needed
