h22 turbo need some help on rebuilding the motor.
I have sleeved h22 block and my question is if it would be safe and reliable to use h23 rods with a h23 crank using h22 pistons.
I'm planning on using crower rods and cp pistons and also I'm trying to get at least 850hp using a s372r.
I'd like to get some ideas on the engine and also what kind of bearings do I use h22 or h23 bearings.

you will need to do the research on the big end of each rod. Check to see if the bearing width, and diameter are identical. Also get the pistons with the necessary pin height to reach your desired compression.
I don't forsee any issues, just make sure bearings are dead nut on, your piston will be sticking out of the hole .020 so make sure you calculate that in your compression at the least would get a 50-60k thick headgasket to compensate the piston out of hole. Unmilled head. Make sure to calculate the valve to piston clearance if using aftermarket more lift cams. Using OEM cams should be okay with 50-60k headgasket.
Last but most importantly for survival balance, balance, balance!
But I would think your better selection of piston would be a h23? Wouldnt have to worry about out of the hole issue?
