Couple Questions about the Hondata Reflash
I want to keep this car completely stock for another couple years (at least) but I would like a little bit more throttle response. I def see some gains when the reflash/i/e, but has anyone just done the hondata alone? Is there any gain at all? I feel the DBW is holding something back with this car and im hoping the reflash would help with that.
Would I be able to go in for warranty work with the reflashed ecu in the car? I def do not want to void this warranty at all.
Has anyone had any problems after doing the reflash? Noticeable mpg drop?
Any input is greatly appreciated!

I'm actually on the same boat as you. I don't want to mod my car that heavily, but the power feels restricted (most likely from DBW). I want my car to have that low end pull more like a RSX type-S with an AEM intake.
I did a lot of research, however, on the HONDATA reflash and the best thing I've found is that it does not void your warantee (unless for whatever reason you kept your car at redline for long periods of time, enough for your piston rings to melt), and that when you take it in for service, mechanics don't even know that your ECU is altered.
As for performance,
On Acurazine, testimony from other owners usually say that it makes a HUGE difference in throttle response as well as a change in the low-end torque curve.
from hondata's site:
"It will work very well with a stock airbox and stock headers."
Also, hondata's testimony is that MPG will be gained since it provides that low-end torque, enabling you to give less gas while shifting sooner.
