looking in to obd conversions
ive got a 91 crx hf i just got the car recently. its got a b18c1 block with a 00 b16 head and intake manifold. it has a pr3 obd0 ecu in it now. with obd0 distributor and obd0 injectors.i was wanting to know whether its worth it to swap to obd2 vs obd1.. i know i would have it much easy when it comes to diagnosing the car with obd2. i know id need to put a second o2 after the cat and i might need to install a fuel tank pressure sensor. but thats about all i know..im very knowledgeable with wiring. im ase master L1 tech. so im not new to cars at all. im just tired of the hideous wiring in my new toy.
An OBD2 conversion is not a very common one and not very practical at that.
You can achieve much more tuning capaility by converting to OBD1 instead. Honda's obd system is quite good as far as diagnosis goes.
If its only the diagnosis on your engine you're worried about, don't, these engines are pretty basic.
Stick with OBD1.
