Default Spoon-style lip mounted.....

Finally got around to painting it and mounting it. Same style that Autodynamic has, but I paid under $70 new for it... I might be able to get more, I'll have to check (don't PM or email me yet about getting them until I know I can still get them). Just showing some picts of how it looks on my car.... I now need to get around and throw my CF hood and some new hoodlocks because it looks weird as is. Fitment was tight... had to have a couple of guys hold each end while I bolted the thing on, but once it was on, it looked good. Does not hang any lower... maybe by an inch if that. You can see in the top pict that the lip acts more like a cover and also still clears my tow hook.

BTW, this is an EG lip and not a 96-98 lip (like people say will fit). I had all 3 lips on hand to test fit for fun... 92-95, 96-98, and 99+ lips. The EK lips did not even come close to fitting and the EG lip barely fits (tight, but fits). Anyways, enjoy.

Nice lip
Nice hatch

What kind of hood do you have right now? Looks like a CF hood, painted. Is that right?

Stock JDM EG hood (black color).... exactly the same as a US hood but I got it for free when I was looking for a hood. I'll take picts probably this weekend with the CF hood on.

New paint job (again) will be in a couple of weeks.

Just because I found another car (similar color) that I like much better, plus nobody has it on their Civics (yet), where as the S2000 color, IMO, is starting to get played out. I'd tell you the color, but then others may jump on it It'll be all done within a month so I'll post some picts then

It's flexible like urethane, but very stiff to work with. Not fiberglass, but just a firm urethane piece... more like plastic but for the price, can't beat it.

The car looks great! I think the paint looks nice as it is. Hey, do you know if that lip is available for the EK? I would definitely be interested if it is.

Since there's so much interest on these lips.... I'm trying to see what I can do about getting more of the lips. If we can get more, than we're going to package them up in a large box (that **** ain't exactly cheap or easy to come across), and possibly sell them for possibly around $120 shipped for the front lip (shipping for such a large item won't be exaxtly cheap either).... for any 92-95 EG hatch/coupe (not sedan), 96-98 EK coupe & hatch (dunno if sedan is the same.... I think it is), and 99+ EK.

Again, this is not a "for sure" thing just yet but I'll work on it to see what I can pull. Still, for a decent lip that looks like that, I'd get it for the price, considering the WW "mugen-style" lip cost a little bit more already.

I dont want to be the dick in this post, but how is that at all Spoon style (the 21st century rice equipment). The Spoon unit curves out much more towards the bottom, hangs much lower than that and has brake duct vents in the out corners

borrowed from inlinefour.com

I believe yours is more of a factory SIR style, not Spoon.

Of course, we are all doomed now that the Spoon S2000 is on the cover of Import Tuner (god, take me now)

JDM style, the new rice.

Haha, quite possibly.... I can careless what "brand" it is or who makes it. I think it is SiR style, but whaddever. But still, different looking from the "Mugen-style" WW lip and from a stock lip. I like the design of it... if I could've, I would've gotten a CF real Spoon-style lip but this (for me) is just as good.

Sorry, all that came out wrong, I love it and I think it looks awesome on your car, plus it cant be beat for the price. I was just stating that I thought it wasnt "Spoon Style"

can you just tell us where you go it so we can order it ourselves. Finally, someone got smart and offered just the front instead of the front and rear together.
