Scion Exposed '08 - tons of pics inside!
If you hate scions click your back button now!
I went to Exposed 2008 with some friends and took some pics....
On the way down:

Then we made a pit spot for everyone to meet up/pee

And finally rolled in to Mid-Ohio with around 50 scions!

by now there was a huge storm coming in and almost everyone took off...
check the sword shifter lol

amazing how only a set of wheels can make these cars look so good.

the wheels were really a flourescent hot pinl, but the camera wasn't picking it up cause they were so bright lol

Now people were flying out of there, as there was a tornado warning and tents & canopys were starting to be tossed. Except for some dedicated race fans who weren't giving up their viewing spot on the top of the hill lol.

Back to the camp ground our tents were ok, most people packed up and left...
We waited out the storm for an hour and everything was good. I watched some of the Rolex Cup (separate thread of pics to come- this one is long enough) and enjoyed beverages. Everyone ducked out so there was a surplus of beverages and a keg lol good night!
There was one disaster, one of the guys who left when the storm hit has a massive tree branch/log snap and smash his front wndshield as he was driving! Somehow He was ok with just some cuts. his xb... not so ok:

GTFO you [freak]wit.
Pretty nice cars overall. I don't think that lime green xB looked too hot, but everything else was pretty cool.

Cool pics. I miss my xB sometimes; it was a great vehicle overall.

As for being ugly, that's obviously your opinion. As for being slow, no one buys an xB because it's rocket ship. Remember: Not everyone's end goal is to have a super-fast car. There are some quick tCs out there, though.

08 TC, manual... stereo sounds like *** (ported 6" sub sounds like its struggggling)
Gearbox, driving sucks.--- ive had a manual car my whole driving career (7 yrs) and i struggle with driving this one. the drive by wire revs the car between shifts, so if you try to shift any faster then your local 90 yr old grandma the car bucks. ITS ANNOYING AS ****.
brakes suck, its slow, powerband stops at like 4800.... I cant wait to get out of it.

So, out of curiosity, why'd you buy it to begin with?

Good gas mileage
Holds a good amount of stuff
Toyota reliability/build quality
Cheap
Easy to customize
I would totally rock a turbocharged, blacked-out xA.

Pretty sure he was talking about the 1st-gen xA and xB.
The tC is EPA rated at 21/29.
Keep in mind the new Si is EPA rated at 20/29. Granted, the Si is faster (but takes premium fuel).
