Default any 4th gens with oem fogs and intercooler piping or try the accord fogs?

Currently the intercooler piping is right where the fogs go.

Once i cut out the fog space for the intercooler piping there is no going back.
Can't move the piping up because the turn signals/support are there, and can't move it down because it would then sit too low. Looks like the fogs sit right below the turn signals with no extra space.

Anyone able to keep the fogs on a 4th gen? If so pics please.

If not anyone try using accord fogs on the top level of the bumper (next to the turn signals) wondering how clean it would look.

I have been wondering for quite some time too .. I know that there was someone on H-T who had bought/made some custom piping to his FMIC and kept his OEM fogs. Looked clean as hell, searched but I couldn't find his thread. If anyone has any pics of the piping, please post up. Thanks.

what if you move the intercooler piping to below the fogs and then put one of these puppies on?

Anyone know how long the center section of the lip is (ex 2 inches)??

spoon lip / replica

Why would you want your intercooler piping sitting any lower than the factory front bar or your radiator... seems like a recipie for disaster to me.

Agreed, decided to flip the intercooler so openings are on top.

on the drivers side the piping goes through the power steering cooler hole, so that wasn't a problem, but for the passenger side now the piping is where the turn signal is.
for now i cut the back of a spare turn signal so it's just the lens left and i am using that.

will eventually come up with a better solution but all is well now

thanks 4 every1's input

i'm PRETTY sure my piping on drivers side will be able to fit UNDER the fog light, and my JDMshit lip will hide all of it. but on the pass side, i got a lil too dremel-happy and cut off the posts to mount the fog to, so i gotta figure something out for that....

but i just tried flipping the IC upside down last week so the openings are on top... the piping still would have hit the metal in the fog lights. grrrrrr

get an LED panel for behind the lens to make it real slim. i k ow it sounds ricer but it wouldn't be a half-assed way. could probably end up looking good too if it's not too crazy. I'm tired and i'll shut up now.. . .

Or you can take the turn signals out completely. I always thought that would look the best with an FMIC.

I'm 90% sure i saw ur car in a youtube video for the tri-state prelude meet. i remember because it was tan, had the jdm lip, one fog light on the drivers side, and the license plate matches your avatar location. that's what gave me the idea to put it low in the first place.

Camera is not at my disposal and the bumper is a PITA to take off, especially not that i have the intercooler mounted to it. basically just put the drivers side through the power steering cooler after opening that up and on the passenger side put it as high up as you can. I use to have the intercooler piping at the bottom but was able to flip it and didn't have to modify the piping at all, just pulled it up.

Thats what I did, left the outer pieces, inner would hit my charge piping since the I/C I had the tanks dead center. If the inlets were on the bottom and the charge piping was extremely tight to the frame, then they should fit. Also take the size of the piping into consideration, 2.5" might do the trick. Ofcourse, you can probably also do a dual backdoor setup also.

you might be able to get the piping in with the intercooler upside down with the inlets on the top instead of the bottom

hey thats my car

at the time the pic was taken, i wasn't boosted anymore, i just left the IC on because the screws wouldn't come out, and i threw my drivers-side fog back on. so i'm still not 100% certain the piping will fit, but it does look as if the piping will just barely clear under the fog.

yea, the IC is as high as it'll possibly go w/o cutting into the bumper support.

What size piping are you running off of the intercooler to the throttle body?
