How Do I Read Check Engine Code For 93 Del Sol ?
Hi All
I am new here to the Del Sol area cause I just recently purchased one ...
I got a check engine light on and I don't know how to read it to see which code I am throwing ?
Also,
The car runs good until it warms up then when I put it into neutral the rpms fall to 0 and the car shuts off .... If I am sitting still at an idle the rpms fall to almost 0 then try to jump back up shaking the whole engine in the process ?
Any ideas or suggestion please ??
THANKS !!!

Jump the small two pin connector located underneath your passenger side dash/carpet by the ECU. Just use a small piece of wire, or a paperclip. A long blink is 10, a short blink is 1. The keys should be in the ign., but you don't need the car running.
Here is the list of codes.

What do you think the 2 pin connector is for?

I have a 93 Del Sol SI as well ... Mine is black ....
I went to auto zone today and they said that they can't read the code ... They gave me a 2 pin metal GM code key said it might work to read my car .... I just don't have faith in doing any of that stuff so I am going to take it to a import shop tomorrow ....

Look at the stickies on the forum, it's right there. Since you can't seem to follow simple directions here:
