lol, well you ARE asking if EK mounts will work, and considering many 96-00 civics are EJs... use your head buddy. You're asking about motor mounts, I'm here to help. No, 96+ motor mounts won't work.

 

Socal, do you really not know that 99% of honda owners refer to the sixth generation civics as EKs and the fifth generation civics as EGs? You are aware that the EF/EG/EK designations have nothing to do with our chassis codes right? Only model specific forums use the chassis designation, such as EJ8 Squad. I have never heard anyone call a fifth or sixth generation civic an EJ Coupe, EJ sedan, or EJ hatch. Everyone says EG/EK hatch/coupe/sedan, and everyone else knows instantly what they're talking about.

Asking what an EG coupe is, knowing full well we call them EGs, makes you look either dumb, or like a jackass.

if the entire engine came out of the ek, use the mounts supplied. if you just got mounts from the ek that came stock d-series you cannot use the rear t mount. both front mounts are interchangable on eg's and ek's between b and d series motors. go and get yourself a teg rear t mount and call it a wonderful day.

Enough of this nonsense about eg's ek's and ej's.
