no. i only put stock honda/acura rims on.

 

no cuz you turboed a truly worthless motor. could have at least done mini-me or even a SOHC VTEC swap..

 

But he didn't and chose to be unique (never even HEARD of someone turboing D15Z1). Just because YOU think the motor is worthless doesn't mean that he does. Maybe it puts out decent power. We don't know. So, how much power DOES it put out?

If you don't need better tires, then I think you're fine. I'm curious how much traction you're getting out of anything that'll fit on those narrow things.

 

I can cut high 2.2 60 fts with mine. I get laughed at too, until I proceed to put buslengths on the ricers that laugh. B18C turbo with VX rims and stock ride height.

 

wow d15 turbo hmmm that thing only puts out 92 hp and 97tq hmmm so that means you probably have at least 140 hp from the turbo well if that how much money you had and you wanted it that way more power to yah props for being different

I love my VX rims. 9lbs each. Sleeper. I guess traction is a problem right now...especially with the horrible stock tires. I've managed 2.2 60 ft times consistently. Here's a pic of the car:

Turboed VX here, no VX motor though. The old motor could do the 1/4 mile in 2 gears. So damn long.

if they laugh at ya, just ignore it, just beat em. Then they'll scrath there head and wonder WTF.

Heres the question though, can you beat anything with a turboed VX motor, maybe a stock LS Integra. I mean, yeah its unique, but so is a Yugo with a sunroof and a 5 inch bosal tip.


I guess a turboed VX is like a fat chick, fun to ride, but you would never tell your friends about it.

thats cool that you turbo'ed that car. you might get bored with it real quick tho. i know this dude that turboed a dx and he thought he was the **** (not sayin anything about you), but he would go to the races and get stomped on. i dont even see that car running around anymore.

My friend turboed his 99CX and ran a best time of 13 flat with an FMAX turbo kit. Until I saw him lately and blew the engine off through the hood. Now he got the CRV motor in there with the same turbo kit and runs mid 11's.

 

I call BS on that, did he buy a new manifold for the Turbo kit, how much boost is he running, oh and one more thing.

to answer ur question...i never dynoed it so i wouldnt know what horse im getting at wheel...but i can keep up now with the teg's and si's easily...anyways im addicted to the blow off going off...sounds so awesome
