NEED HELP! ticking sound when igntion switch is on
Hey guys so i found out that one of my connectors isnt getting power so i decided to try to follow the wire to the fusebox, i disconnected all the connectors from the fusebox and now when i connect it back the car makes a ticking machine gun sound when the ignition is switched on i have no idea what to do, car doesnt start and all fuses are ok
Does the car crank? If not its probably your main relay or you misconnected something. Recheck everything and make sure you have accurate wiring diagrams of the Main fuse box to the ignition switch (not your starter) to the dash fuse box to main relay to the fuel pump. This should cover everything you need to check.
thanks man i found the problem, just being lazy, i had forgotten to connect one of the connectors back and i didnt see it because it had been pushed up under the dash, thanks for ur help
ya its the connector that has 4 pins that connects to the main fuse box under the hood (turns out there was 2 that i had forgotten) the other one i mentioned was the black connector behind the fusedbox under the dash
