hi.

i got a hatback ek 00 with manual window. i just bougth a civic copue ex door with power window. i bought the floor harness wires fron honda dealer. after installed everything i found a extra harness the i can't find the posittion to plug. any one know where this plug going to.

The extra plug is MOST likely the power window plug, but you'd have to show us what it is to be 100% sure.

 

what yr is the ex?
where exactly is the leftover plug located?

 

i will post a picture for tomorrow. is locate under the steering colunn.

could be the switch that won't let you start the car without the clutch in or the car in park. If you have a manual car with an auto harness I can see that happening...

 

under the steering column?
did you check the plug for the power mirror switch?
you should not have a plug going to the steering column.
everything plugs right into the fusebox,and then you have the blue plug for speakers,and the plugs going to the firewall.get pics so i can see what your talking about.
