On average what is a good price for a good paint job (includes knocking out some dings)? Nothing extravagant, just keep the original color. I am looking to paint soon and I need some opinions.

 

for a good paint job, expect about 1100 bux. for a fair paint job, expect 800 bux, for a bad paint job, take it to maaco.

 

do the prep work yourself, and if you want to go crazy- then take out the windows, etc, and tow the car there already for paint, exceopt for degreaser, etc...that should save a lot and you can spend as much time as possible making it PERFECT!!

 

if you can't answer that yourself...don't even consider it.

 

Damn...i Freakin need a new paint job!!

 

Im gettin mine in a couple weeks! haha But anyway preping it yourself would be wetsand your car.

prep work is filling any dents (bondo).
sanding...
removing any weather stripping or anything else you dont want painted...
... everything you do right before you actually paint.

 

not to brag, but i geeettttt ffrreeee paintjob. sorry had to let that off my chest.
