Default Front Rotors

This coming weekend I'm gonna be changing my gf's front brake rotors on her 92 Accord and I want to know how hard are these things are gonna be. I've looked at them before and they look weird there not like a Civic Rotor. I've searched around and saw this post https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1664547 but non of the pictures are working so I can't tell what I'm looking at if anyone can give me some info I would be thankful

It's Hub over Rotor, it's more work than you think lol.

If you look on the autozone website they have diagrams from the repair manual that will help you. I believe 94 and up has the hub over the rotors and the years below have the screws which require the impact driver to remove. I just checked the site recently so I know it should still be up.

Edit: Just checked it is 90-95 with the hub. Son of a biscuit! Have fun.

correction... all 90-97 Accords came stock with the Hub-Over-Rotor (HOR) design on the fronts. The rears where the normal Rotor-Over-Hub (ROH) which requires the removal of 2 phillip screws. You can however convert the 90-97 front brake from HOR to ROH. Info on how to replace these brakes and well as convert them is in the FAQ.

Is there any reason for HOR design that you know of? It just seems like bad engineering to me, a home mechanic. I'm inclined to hate Honda for that design, 'cause it was a bitch separating the hub from the rotor.
