CRX Seats in my 96 hatch?!
Well, I have a friend with a CRX and he wants to sell me his seats for cheap. they're in good shape, and i'd love to take them, but I'm unsure that they will fit? Anyone with pics of this conversion? I'd swap brackets, but will they physically FIT? and how low/high do you sit compared to stock? I did a search and came up with info on 5th gens, but no 6th gen. Thanks!!
Dont do it. I spent half the day Sunday trying to put some Del Sol seats from my EK into my EF. Not worth the trouble unless you know a Decent welder to fabricate some brackets. Nothing seemed to work. I just bolted the rails back up and put the seats back into my EK this morning.
I thought you had a 2gnt?

ummm....you will prob just have to get the brackets and sliders, you might have to drill some holes to relocate the brackets, but thats it.
No, actually, I have a 1G - T. I'm working on my Ek, though. I thought if I had the EK brackets, Icould attach them to the bottom of the CRX seat and I'd be all set?? I'm confused.
well i dont' know about the ek..but in the eg the rails are on the bottom and the side..and the crx si seat rails are mounted only at the bottom so you cant' really swap rails..and the crx si seats are smaller then the oem in my eg so the seat couldn't mount properly on the bumps of the floor..so you can't even drill new holes for it cause then you'll sit a little slanted...alot of custom work to do.. i tried it and just put my stock seats back
