hmm yeah I asked around among the people I know. Just seems like us import guys are not really using them. And the ones that do say they are prone to seepage. Just curious why you were thinking of using them

Sometimes a Google search is worth your while.
Copper headgasket is not prone to leakage unless you "O-ring" your engine. They are actually better IMO because they don't crush like steel HGs giving you a more acurate compression ratio calculation.

correct! that and lets say you have to take the head off for some reason...copper gaskets can be reused and reused as long as you don't damage them. plus i have to deck the block becuz theres a bad scratch. its cheaper to buy a copper gasket and tell them the thickness i want, than buying a 4 layer.
