Hardly a build up - more like a clean up... EM1/B18C5 Etc
Got a new project car. It was someone else's project that they did not want to finish. My current EM1 will be donating some of the parts etc.. to make the new one a fun auto-x/track/weekend car.
Overall the new car needs a lot of work... It was involved in a front end collision early in it's life and the repair isn't done the greatest. I picked it up because it was cheap and will do for what I need it for.

2000 JDM B18C5 swap. Swap was done in a hurry so not very well. Lots of stuff is ghetto rigged. Wiring harnesses have exposed wires/chopped clips etc. Some bolts used were SAE and cross threaded... You can see the old repair to the fender on the driver side - still wavy and crinkled. The AC was removed. Power steering pump has no pulley on it and the thread is all stripped. Washer bottle was removed and the sensor just cut and hanging there.
I am gonna try to clean it up.

Getting started on the rear suspension.

Rear suspension out. Nice to know some of the bolts were held with castle nuts (???). At least none of the bolts were seized.

Rear rotors looking fubar... Good thing I have:

Cadium plated Brembo rotors + Axxis metal master pads in. Still have to install the stainless lines and clean/paint the calipers. Gonna use RBF600 fluid once I pick some up.

I like how there's no mention that the car is 5 lug</TD></TR></TABLE>
oh yeah - the car is also 5 lug so it should stop berry nice! especially when I change the lines and fluid tomorrow!

I wish I could get it as immaculate as yours but I have no time or money hahaha... I went and watched a lapping event yesterday and now just want to get the car ready to race so I am skipping all aesthetic steps and just gonna finish the brakes/suspension/flush out all the fluids and hope to hit the track next couple weeks!

Installed the rear lines but I think I got the wrong application since the front ones are about 6" too long. Gonna drop them off to get shortened today.
